                           THE HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAPHY

I have always wondered who came up with this idea of capturing a moment and saving it for a lifetime.. This really pushed me to do Visual Communication and guess what?! I found the answer for my question.. It was first attempted by Thomas Wedgwood. It all started after the discovery of the principle of Camera obscura and the observation that some substances are visibly altered by exposure of light.

The word "PHOTOGRAPHY" is attributed to Sir John Herschel in 1839, 'Photo' means Light and 'graphy' means Drawing. So it is basically drawing with light. The first ever concept started with a Pin-hole camera, where an inverted image was formed at the end. By developing this as a step-by-step process, the whole thing turned into magic and at the end this was the result we got!!! :)

Thanks to him. It was all because of him we have this wonderful technology for capturing our precious moments. CAMERA has now become a part of everyone's family. Digital cameras, mobile cameras and yes of course DSLRs, are all now very common. Using a DSLR is now a child's play.

Well, now people.. Take your camera and go start clicking pictures :)
There is no better way to express your feelings visually than this..

HAPPY CLICKING! :)
